The latest thing in the gourmet coffee craze is raising some eyebrows. It’s called Kopi Luwak - and it is made from coffee beans that have gone through the digestive system of civet cats in Indonesia. Yep, that’s right - these beans have been pooped out by cats, and then someone has actually gone through the cat droppings, taken the beans, roasted them, and made coffee out them. Supposedly, it’s fabulous coffee. My question is: who was the first person who saw coffee beans in cat poo and decided to use them?
