A cat in a nursing home in Rhode Island has an uncanny knack for predicting the deaths of residents. When the cat curls up with a patient and refuses to leave, nursing home staff will call the patient’s family members, knowing that the patient probably has less than four hours to live. Oscar the cat was raised in the nursing home, and has accurately predicted 25 deaths so far. I think I ‘d keep my door closed.
